Ukraine reports Russian attacks from multiple directions

Ukraine’s armed forces says Russia is attacking “civilian and military infrastructure” from multiple directions using aircraft, artillery and cruise missiles. Russia had carried out 30 strikes by 1100 GMT, the general staff said, as it painted a complicated picture of Russia’s invasion. “Fierce fighting continues in the direction of Kharkiv,” it said, referring to a major city in north-east Ukraine that is not far from the Russian border.
