Real estate firm must comply with New York AG’s Trump probe, court rules

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Real estate company Cushman & Wakefield PLC must comply with subpoenas from New York state Attorney General Letitia James as part of her civil investigation into former U.S. President Donald Trump, an appeals court ruled on Thursday. James’ probe is examining whether Trump and his family company, the Trump Organization, misled banks and tax authorities about the value of its assets to get financial benefits like favorable loans and tax breaks.
